Job Description
We are looking for a RF Design Engineer to work with DoD/IC customers to design, build, and test RF/Microwave systems and subsystems for applications ranging from ground to space. Successful candidates will possess knowledge of RF product design from concept through testing. Our Engineers transform concepts into reality.
ResponsibilitiesProduce design concepts and solutions for various RF systems.Produce and review RF designs.Work with systems engineering to develop specification-compliant designs.Generate subsystem/component level specifications from top-level specifications.Assist in the management and oversight of RF-related activities on site.Essential Skills8+ years of experience in RF Design Engineering.Experience with designs such as Receiver/Exciters, RF Arrays, or Radar subsystems.Ability to derive lower level specifications from system performance requirements.Demonstrated ability to lead small teams for RF systems and subsystem designs.Expertise in at least one RF design area such as passive designs, LNAs, PAs, Multi-Chip Modules, or Low Phase Noise Oscillators.Experience with microwave simulators utilizing 3D or 2.5D solvers such as Momentum and CST.Circuit design utilizing modern RF software (Genesys, MWO, or ADS).Ability to bring new ideas and concepts to the team and the customer.Bachelor's degree minimum.Additional Skills & QualificationsDesign experience with systems ranging from HF to the person with Altium schematic capture and layout.Experience in LEO system programs and design requirements.Working knowledge of digital, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to aid in design reviews.Work Environment
You will work within a team of 20 multi-disciplinary professionals. The position is onsite, within an engineering and lab environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00
