The SAP BTP/CPI Integration Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role involves driving end-to-end integration strategies, delivering robust and scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data and process connectivity across systems.
Key responsibilities:Lead the design and delivery of integration solutions on SAP BTP and CPI, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.Define and implement best practices for SAP integrations, covering both on-premises and cloud-based landscapes.Develop and maintain integration scenarios using SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and other middleware tools.Manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into technical specifications.Support hybrid integration strategies involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP C/4HANA, and third-party systems.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards for all integration solutions.Conduct periodic performance reviews and optimize existing integrations for efficiency and reliability.Mentor and guide team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives.Required Skills10–15 years of experience in SAP integration projects, including at least 5 years of experience in SAP BTP/CPI.Expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions using SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP API Management.Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP C/4HANA, and other SAP solutions in integration.Strong knowledge of IDocs, iFlow mapping, ABAP proxies, and native SAP integrations.Experience with web services, APIs (REST, SOAP), and OData protocols.Proficiency in Groovy scripting and message mappings for complex integration scenarios.Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and hybrid cloud integration.Strong understanding of integration security concepts, including OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for integration lifecycle management.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering quality solutions.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; certifications in SAP BTP or CPI are highly desirable.Life at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
