Sr SAP Data Services Developer

In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions to address our organization's business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you'll provide technical expertise and ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions within the SAP environment while maintaining Agile principles and methodologies.

 

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE 

We are in search of a highly skilled Sr SAP Data Services Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions to address our organization's business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you'll provide technical expertise and ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions within the SAP environment while maintaining Agile principles and methodologies. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you'll empower Hallmark Technology to swiftly respond to market demands, deliver incremental value to customers, and sustain a competitive advantage in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in a technology role Minimum of 8 years of experience as an SAP Data Services developer or similar role

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong hands-on experience as a technical developer in Data Services In-depth knowledge of developing real-time interfaces such as IDOC and BAPI for SAP applications using Data Services Responsible for creating and managing Data Services workflows, dataflows, and mappings Solid knowledge of HANA View Modeling, including the use of calculation views and performance optimization techniques Strong understanding of various Data Services transformations and their application Experience with HANA SQL and stored procedures Proficient in deploying code across Development, QA, and Production environments using central repositories Experienced in working with SAP systems as both data sources and targets Skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Data Services servers and repositories Expertise in managing user roles, permissions, and overseeing data sources and target configurations Experienced in implementing performance tuning strategies for Data Services solutions Proficient in preparing and documenting Technical Specifications for Data Services projects Extensive experience in designing and architecting solutions using Data Services Proficient in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Data Services jobs Capable of performing backup and recovery operations for Data Services repositories Ability to provide accurate estimations for Data Services work effort Capable of identifying Data Services-related risks and issues and escalating them with appropriate resolution strategies Adheres to SAP Data Services coding best practices and standards, ensuring they are enforced and followed throughout the development lifecycle Perform design reviews and mentor junior team members Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (Jira, ADO, Trello, etc.) to manage projects effectively Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with SAP Integration Suite is a plus

This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work both on-site at Hallmark's Headquarters and virtually from your residence in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area.
