Responsibilities:
Review and analyze SBA loan applications to determine creditworthiness and repayment ability.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial data.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan applications.
Ensure all loan applications comply with SBA guidelines and lender policies.
Manager multiple loans at a time and allocate the appropriate time each
Prepare detailed credit memorandums and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
Work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan approval process.
Day to Day
One on Insight Globals client is looking for a SR SBA underwriter to join their team. This individual will be analyzing loan requests comprehensively, from initiation to completion. The individual will collaborate closely with loan officers to effectively communicate updates to borrowers and brokers through various channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Additionally, they will review and underwrite small business loan requests, address concerns related to loan approvals, and work with other team members to find justifiable solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. They should also enjoy mentoring and supporting junior underwriters.
