You will report directly to our Sr ISC Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our Richardson, TX location.

The Richardson Sensor Foundry produces over 250 million sensing elements per year, enabling Honeywell’s global sensing product line. Located in Richardson, Texas (Dallas area), this is a position to launch a new product in a new high automation semiconductor assembly factory. The Senior Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer will direct process release and overall project progress, from equipment purchase to production ramp up.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Hands on\nExperience with Semiconductor Assembly Equipment: Solder Print, Adhesive\nDispense, Gel Ring Attach, Optical Metrology.Processing owner for multiple assembly processesDrive\ncontinuous improvement actions for quality thruputRead and\ninterpret part drawings to ensure processes are meeting specificationsInterface\nwith operator, technicians, and design engineering  Guide\nproblem solving efforts for machine or quality problemsCreate and\nmaintain process documentation and work instructionsEnsure all\ninternal manufacturing, development, and suppliers are capable and conform to\nthe customer expectation, product performance, and quality plan.Develop\nand maintain company, site, and department metrics.Install,\nRelease to Manufacturing and Maintain Semiconductor Assembly Equipment for\ninitial production launch.

MUST HAVE:  

Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Semiconductor or Electronic Assembly.Minimum of 2 years of Experience releasing new capital equipment to Production

WE VALUE:  

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics2 years of engineering experienceAbility to Qualify New Semiconductor Packaging and inspection equipment.Demonstrated understanding of process variation, statistical analysis, and statistical controls. Six Sigma Green belt orBlack belt certification is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
