Join a team that applies technical expertise and knowledge to ensure products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be a technical expert in the process design for various manufacturing operations. You will ensure product integrity, manufacturing output, and continuous improvements working daily with design engineering and factory operations.  
Our team develops new or improves existing processes, defines process equipment, and defines processing methods applied in the fabrication of pressure, magnetic, and inertial sensors for commercial and military applications. You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for existing and new technologies.  You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.  Support daily production activities and drive improvement in a challenging environment.  


RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Medium volume manufacture of tight tolerance pressure sensors (1 to 10,000 psi) used for airplanes, UAV’s, Metrology, and Wind Tunnels to name a few.

•  High volume manufacture of magnetic sensors for commercial applications using earth’s magnetic field for compassing, navigation, position sensing, security, and dead reckoning.

•  Medium volume manufacture of MEMS Gyro’s and Accelerometer sensors for inertial measurement units used in military and commercial applications.

•  Medium volume manufacture of Microelectronics (Some are radiation hardened for Space applications, Wafer fab services for customer designed Die, packaging, and test) 

•  Monitor process capability and maintain control of key characteristics.

•  Utilize Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies 

•  Investigate the root cause of technical issues, contain problems to protect customers, and implement corrective action to resolve them.

•  Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.

•  Support preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.  

•  Achieve the factories annual operating plan and future factory needs.  

•  Support factory automated assembly and test equipment.

•  This role is located at the Honeywell Plymouth facility


 


  U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for this position\nis $106,000 - $125,256. Please note that this salary information serves as a\ngeneral guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,\nincluding but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,\nthe candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as\nmarket and business considerations

 

MUST HAVE:  

•  Bachelor’s degree in engineering

•  5 + years’ experience; manufacturing, fabrication, assembly 

•  Due to US export control laws must be US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status.
