The Senior Service Technician will work on complex systems built in the USA to produce high quantities of cards that involve embossing, full-colored graphics, laser technology, magnetic encoding, smart card and other state-of-the-art techniques.

Responsibilities:

Perform component level repair of printers and laminators to support depot contracts and customer owned products.Deliver high quality emergency maintenance services on Entrust equipmentAssist with the refurbishment of Entrust products to support the Certified Pre-owned Equipment salesSupport other functions and responsibilities within Repair Services and ID ServicesDiagnose and understand equipment problemsWork with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issuesMaintain failure data recordsCommunicate technical issues to engineering, manufacturing, quality and other groupsParticipate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiativesComplete all company training and development courses required by Entrust

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma/GEDMinimum of 5 years of electromechanical technician experienceProficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical assembliesDemonstrated ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, bill of materials and follow processesDemonstrated communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customersWillingness and ability to work flexible hours, assignments and travel when requiredAble to work in a sitting or standing position for extended time periods and able to lift and
install mechanical assemblies that may weigh up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree in ElectronicsAdditional electromechanical technician experienceSkilled with tools and electronic test equipmentStrong organizational skills

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $27.41-$40.21 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
