Roles and Responsibilities

Leads, coordinates, or oversees warehouse & logistics operations.Activities include productivity and process quality of warehouse operations, reducing controllable expenses, VCP, & contract labor spend, and ownership of EHS, logistics and shipping processes (including purchasing, receiving, and shipping).Manage warehouse to ensure customer requirements are met (including providing scope to contract labor workforce in warehouse).Manage and coordinate communication between the project managers, global supply chain and the logistics teams or vendors as needed.Oversees strategic planning of the logistics. Drives cost reduction wherever applicable while meeting customer and safety requirements.Typically, a 1st line manager of professionals or a 2nd line manager of a professional department.Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource.Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus 5 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Functions (s) (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).Minimum of 4 years in a leadership or management role in the Services & Warehouse and Logistics Operations.
