Job Description:
The Shift Technicians play a crucial role in supporting operations and maintenance of the semiconductor sophisticated packaging pilot line, including manual handling, loading of lots, and system requests across CMP, WET, ETCH, PHOTO, CVD, bonding, debonding, TCD, wafer preparation, hybrid bonding, pre- and post-encapsulation, and other relevant processes.
Job Responsibilities
Manual Handling: Handle semiconductor wafers and materials manually, following safety protocols and handling procedures.
Lot Loading: Load and unload lots onto semiconductor processing equipment, ensuring accurate alignment and adherence to processing requirements.
System Requests: Respond to system requests from engineers and operators, including equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Equipment Operation: Operate semiconductor processing equipment within assigned processes, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Process Monitoring: Monitor process parameters and equipment performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or abnormalities.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs, to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment issues and process problems, calling out complex issues to engineers or maintenance personnel as needed.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure the reliability and performance of semiconductor devices and packages.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, process parameters, and production activities. Generate shift reports and communicate any issues or concerns to the appropriate customers.
Safety and Compliance: Implement to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field, with hands-on experience in equipment operation and maintenance. Experience with semiconductor packaging processes is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, including CMP/ WET / ETCH/ PHOTO/ CVD/ bonding/ debonding/ TCD/ wafer preparation/ hybrid bonding/ encapsulation tools.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Be able to process problems and troubleshoot equipment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and collaborate with team members.
Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
Great Teammate: Collaborative demeanor with a willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve common goals.
