Leading expert responsible for Software Applications oversight and planning of the functional and technical designs supporting Dart’s business process areas. Serve as an advisor to the IT Business Engagement Solutions teams in the areas of ERP Systems, Web-based applications, SAAS solutions and other software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the functional and technical designs supporting Dart’s business process areas and best practices which maintain or improve software applications
+ Guide the IT Business Engagement Solutions teams in the area of software applications
+ Ensure that the health and performance of sotware applications are regurlay evaluated
+ Keep abreast of new technology developments and champion changes to current standards, procedures, and solutions
+ Champion, with the Solutions Architecture Team, the production and updates of the software applications technology roadmap
+ Provide mentorship and training to the Software Application Architects
+ Oversee the final escalation point for design and technical issues
+ Advocate and champion technical research and evaluation projects for IT working with the business to determine the feasibility, suitability and performance of available solutions
+ Lead the Software Applications Architects in the use of standardized enterprise technologies keeping the long-term Dart strategy in mind
+ Ensure that detailed information about enterprise application components in use, as well as planned changes, long-term roadmaps, sunset conditions and plans for each component are maintained and published by the Software Applications Architects
+ Provide strategic consultation to business and IT management
+ Lead the research to identify market enabling technologies based on customer requirements
+ Oversee the development of technical solutions for new and existing applications
+ Provide expertise to process improvement projects around efficient use of core technologies
+ Champion proposal development and RFP responses, including requirements gathering, identification of applications, platform selection and sizing
+ Lead supplemental business informational sessions with other Engineers such as SAP Basis System
+ Maintain an understanding of infrastructure architecture and concepts
What you’ll need:
+ Requires one of the following:
+ Bachelor’s degree (with an emphasis in STEM fields preferred)
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent and six (6) years of IT experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of IT experience
+ Twelve (12) years of SAP or other software application-centric technical/designer experience
+ Eight (8) years of end to end implementation experience participating in blueprinting discussions from AS-IS state to TO-BE state
+ Seven (7) years of SAP or other software application functional and technical designs
+ Comprehensive knowledge and experience with SAP-ABAP or other development background
+ Comprehensive knowledge and experience with functional/configuration and analyst/system integration
+ Technical solutioning experience in public clouds (Azure, AWS)
+ Experience documenting business requirements
+ Ability to define configurations, sizing, and evaluating ‘pricing’ solutions based on business needs
+ Understanding of VMWare, other virtualization technologies and storage technologies
+ Understanding of Windows and UNIX / Linux Operating systems
+ Understanding of Robotic Process Automation
+ Good technical writing skills
+ Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
+ Proven analytical problem solver
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain technical issues
+ Ability to effectively present to an audience
+ Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
+ Up to 10% domestic travel
