In the next year, we will expand central’s offerings to meet enterprises where they are by offering various transportation and delivery solutions and continue to evolve the delegate booking platform. - **U4B: Eats for Business** Eats for Business team build an ecosystem to provide E2E delivery solutions for any employees and employers. This is the team’s mission: - Create a reliable infrastructure to support large scale (hundreds of participants), recurring, and scheduled group orders. - Build the backtone technology that will power meal planning experiences for both employees and employers. - Provide merchants with intuitive tools to serve quality food and services for enterprise customers. - Enable opportunities for couriers to increase their income with higher incentives, which leads to better delivery service for employees and employers. - Make Uber corporate meal programs seamless and solve everyone’s needs. - **Reservations** At Uber, we're committed to making transportation as reliable as running water for everyone, everywhere. We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our Reservations team. The Reservations Team is responsible for building and maintaining the “Uber Reserve” product, Uber’s reliable sophisticated booking solution. Uber Reserve is one of the fastest growing mobility product at Uber, and we need your help to scale it to greater heights. - **Fulfillment Platform** The Fulfillment org builds and operates a set of Foundational Technologies and APIs upon which the business is built. Our platform is at the heart of the core trip workflow at Uber and  directly impacts the cost and speed of new product launches. The Fulfillment Foundations team builds, maintains and optimizes the foundational services/frameworks that are used for implementing Uber's core fulfillment flow for both Mobility and Delivery businesses. This team owns and operates some of the most critical Services/APIs at Uber including Realtime Marketplace transactional store on Google Spanner, Real Time Indexing/Search store on Lucene, Realtime Events/Metrics platform, Realtime Rules Engine, among others. We directly support all the business verticals within Uber and the services/platforms are used by hundreds of engineers globally across the company daily. Our services scale up to 1M+ QPS at peak. ## **Minimum qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field **OR** 6-year full-time Software Engineering work experience, **WHICH INCLUDES** 6-year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: - Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go) - Note the 5-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these).
