Sr Software Engineer Leader, Hybrid
What You'll Do We're looking for a transformational software engineering leader to join our Finance, Actuarial, and Accounting IT leadership team. In this role, you’ll provide formal team leadership and drive the delivery of scalable software solutions by leading the design and development efforts dedicated to these domains within Benefits and Protection. The team is focused on integrating existing systems and building modern, user friendly, efficient and scalable solutions. These initiatives range widely from improving the customer experience to providing them with insightful data solutions that enhance decision making. Who You Are Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience 6+ years of technology and/or engineering experience Experience coaching and enabling engineering teams and individuals Excellent verbal/written communication, facilitation/presentation, problem solving, analytical, delegation and decision making skills Ability to work with multi-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners at all levels Desire to learn new technology and motivate others to do the same Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Formal leadership experience, managing a team of engineers Experience working in a financial, accounting or actuary product environment Engineering experience with AWS and Snowflake Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $106400 - $167000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
