Sr Specialist, National & Community Partnerships

      

Individual contributor role responsible for providing expertise in the cultivation and activation of partner relationship to drive impact in local communities, engage stakeholders and clients and contribute to enterprise growth initiatives. The Sr. Specialist, National and Community Partnerships contributes insights related to client/stakeholder interests, industry trends and community needs to make decisions and recommendations to deliver partnership and engagement results. This position provides leadership and/or contributes to cross-organizational teams to collaborate with mission-driven organizations, develop impactful programs, and contribute to the Thrivent’s impact in local communities.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Leverage market data, client insights and community trends to identify potential partner relationships and engagement opportunities.Gather internal stakeholder feedback to assure partnership alignment with corporate priorities and initiatives.Utilize expertise to develop and execute partnership proposals, project plans, and supporting materials.Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations, establishing rapport and trust.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of partnership initiatives.Support partner development, engagement, and execution efforts through Thrivent’s deployed teams and local, grassroots networks; assist with stakeholder management.Track partnership and engagement performance metrics and their impact and contribute insights for continuous improvement.Model Thrivent’s leadership competencies by demonstrating resiliency, working together to make the best decisions, and holding yourself and others accountable.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 

 Required:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related areas.Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.Team player capable of working across diverse functional areas.Strong interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.Commitment to meeting business goals and driving community impact.Demonstrated commitment to continual learning.Some travel required (20%)

 

Preferred:

Knowledge of financial services industry, fraternal benefit societies, or membership organizations.Experience working with church, non-profit, and community organizations and their leaders.Bi-lingual: English and Spanish.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $83,934.00 - $113,559.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
