What Regulatory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Regulatory Management is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products and services and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.
Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements and utilizes depth and breadth of experience to assess regulatory changes, risk and business impact.Leads and directs efforts to assess the implementation of Quality and EH&S Management Systems to drive performance improvement and enhance supply chain integrity while preserving and optimizing system efficiency.Develops, implements and maintains standard operating procedures, programs and processes to ensure conformance with quality, regulatory and company requirements.Applies thought leadership and expertise to assess, evaluate, manage, mitigate and balance risk and enhance business performance.Provides ongoing guidance and direction to operations personnel regarding regulatory and quality matters.Monitors Federal, State, and local regulatory activities in order to implement new Company procedures or update existing procedures to facilitate compliance.Serves as liaison with local, state and federal government agencies.Responsibilities
Responsible for execution of recalls/field actions globallyIncludes regulatory body communications and required recall/field action effectiveness updatesPrimary responsibility of completing Distribution Center (DC) and customer notification of recall/field actionsCompletes data inquiries to support management review activities and leadership updatesSupports DCs with recall effectiveness inspections and other regulatory/accreditation inspectionsDemonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements and utilizes depth and breadth of experience to assess regulatory changes, risk and business impactDevelops, implements and maintains standard operating procedures, programs and processes to ensure conformance with quality, regulatory and company requirements.Applies thought leadership and expertise to assess, evaluate, manage, mitigate and balance risk and enhance business performance.Provides ongoing guidance and direction to operations personnel regarding regulatory and quality matters.Monitors Federal, State, and local regulatory activities in order to implement new Company procedures or update existing procedures to facilitate compliance.Serves as liaison with local, state and federal government agencies.Qualifications
Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred2+ years’ experience in related field, Quality preferredQuality background in regulated industry, recall/field action management strongly preferredStrong analytical and technology skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suite programsEffective communicator able to work cross-functionally to achieve resultsWhat is expected of you and others at this level
Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasksWorks on projects of moderate scope and complexityIdentifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolveApplies judgment within defined parametersReceives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projectsWork reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracyThis role is hybrid, and will spend 2-3 days in the office per week.
Anticipated salary range: $54,200-$80,400
