Sr Specialist, Systems Engineer
Job Title: Sr. Specialist, System Engineer Job Code: 15299 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Description: As a Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer you will contribute to the development of leading-edge technologies that deliver mission-critical solutions for our customers. In this role you will lead overall systems development for new cutting-edge electronic warfare product line while supporting existing product improvements. Bring your experience in advanced signal processing, signal detection, modeling and electronic warfare systems to advance state of the art applications supporting Electronic Attack, Electronic Protection and Electronic Support. Essential Functions: + Lead system design and development efforts + Synthesize high level function goals to task multiple teams and coordinate subsystem integration + Assists Chief Engineer with team coordination and planning, interfacing with program management and customers + Coordinate system design, implementation, integration, verification and validation activities + Engage in system-level trade studies and allocate functional and performance requirements across the firmware and software domains + Support bid and proposal activities along with customer and internal presentations. + Analyze results and build data to identify root cause issues and trends + Working under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives, the incumbent determines and pursues course of action necessary to obtain required results + Demonstrated leadership competency and solid communication skills, both verbal and written are required + Mentor junior engineers and coworkers + Available to support up to 10% travel + Other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. + Current TS/SCI Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills: + Proficient in Engineering core competencies (Mechanical, Electrical, RF, Software) + Expert knowledge of RF antennas, receivers and transmitters + Knowledge of RF signal processing and advanced communication algorithms + Detailed knowledge of one or more signal protocols (Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, IoT) + Experience designing and fielding EW Systems, especially Electronic Support (signal detect, classification, direction finding, geolocation, and collection), Electronic Attack (counter communications, counter UAS, counter RADAR, information operations) + Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment. + Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation) + Self-motivated entrepreneurial attitude and spirit + Experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes / Spec-A / Sig-Gen) L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
