Sr Specialist - Midstream SAP Support

Summary:

Sunoco LP is a leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America’s largest independent fuel distributor. The Midstream Support team provides administrative support services to the Terminal, Pipeline and Project teams. The Capital Projects Support Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and preparing capital project requests on behalf of the Midstream operations team. The person in this role is also responsible for identifying process improvement and automation opportunities and working with the business, systems and capital project teams to continuously improve the process. 

Essential Functions:

Primary business owner of SAP Plant Maintenance and related mobile data collection applications for Terminal and Pipeline Operations. Responsible for setting planned maintenance and inspection tasks in SAP Plant Maintenance and associated mobile data collection applications.  Includes setting up new equipment and scheduling regulatory inspection Set up and modify forms in mobile data collection applications. Understands, or able to learn, the basic functions of key field assets and equipment and how the planned maintenance tasks ensure safe, reliable operation of pipeline and terminal systems. Stays current with regulatory requirements that require planned maintenance and inspections including but not limited to PHMSA Code of Federal Regulations part 195. Liaison to Operations and Tech Services teams to ensure tasks are setup correctly and field personnel know how to use the systems and complete the tasks. Acts as Operations SME and liaison to tech support for field troubleshooting of mobile equipment and technical issues with SAP or RWO application Provides basic support of “Audit Builder” tool to generate regulatory audit packages Coordinate with IT, Accounting, Ops and Tech Services to implement maintenance related processes including setting up warehouse locations, spare equipment inventory, work order and related processes to relieve inventory and re-stocking. Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities that result in more efficient task execution, data collection and reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience At least two years of business systems setup and reporting experience

Preferred Skills

Experience using SAP Plant Maintenance or similar systems that track and schedule preventative maintenance, generate work orders and manage inventory. Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and mobile data collection applications. Detail oriented: should be meticulous about data accuracy across multiple systems. Strong oral and written communication skills: should be comfortable interacting with individuals across different departments and different levels within the organization. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects.  Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision Resource for setting up new equipment in SAP Resource for scheduling regulatory inspections Can assist with adding new forms or modifying existing forms for the mobile environment Can be a point of contact for field troubleshooting of mobile equipment or technical issues with SAP or RWO application Provides basic support of “Audit Builder” which is the export tool out of OpenText to generate regulatory audit packages

 

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience Working Conditions:

Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
