Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Actively developing (coding) applications, working closely with peer developers and QA team members across scrum teams in designing, developing, testing, modernizing, supporting, and integrating client facing user interface components and supporting services. Develop modern web and service development processes and technologies with a strong focus on server/service side development. Collaborate with product owners and business partners to define strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose narratives, design features, and prioritize tasks). Working with scrum team members as well as dependency development partners on the full software development life cycle. Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery. Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans. Create dashboards and alerts for monitoring and troubleshooting the applications in production.
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $141,416 to $160,800 per year
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field. and 5 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires related progressive, post- Bachelor’s experience (5 years with Bachelor’s or 3 years with Master’s), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Design and development of Enterprise Applications using Java and J2EE; Authenticating and authorizing applications using SAML and OAUTH; Distributed messaging using message brokers and Rabbit MQ; Developing microservices using Spring Boot and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Developing relational databases including Oracle, DB2, and MySQL; Application development, including client/server, web components, web services, micro components/services, and micro frontends/UI; Create test automation framework for microservice applications using Cucumber BDD framework for continuous integration with CI/CD pipeline.
