Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze, design, program, debug, configure, and modify software systems and/or new products used in local, cloud, networked, mobile, or Internet-related technology. Code may be used in commercial and/or end-user applications. Use programming languages and technologies to write code, perform testing, log, and debug applications with the goal of achieving maintainability, availability, scalability, and security. Pursue strong engineering practices through a culture of continuous improvement. Complete documentation for tech specs. Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Follow the principles of agile and focus on incremental delivery. May lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams. Act as a mentor to junior staff members. Actively participate in product and technology focused social and learning event.
Job Location: Westlake, TX
Salary: $149,781 to $160,800 year
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: Develop web-based applications using HTML, CSS, Javascript or Typescript or jQuery and .NET and C#; Develop client facing web application using backbone.js and Angular (version 6.0 and above); Develop resilient and performant applications which do not timeout or throw errors in production using Web API and RESTful services; Develop client facing web applications using micro front-end architecture in a PCF cloud based environment; Perform CI/CD to production using JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Bamboo; Monitor errors within web application using SPLUNK logging; and Develop alerts to notify team when application throws errors in production using SPLUNK.
