Job Description
We seek an accomplished, self-motivated Sr Subcontract Administrator who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The Sr Subcontract Administrator is responsible for activities that span the entire procurement cycle. This position reports to a Director of Contracts and can be based in Alexandria, VA, Lexington Park, MD, or Hybrid.
ResponsibilitiesProvide cradle-to-grave Subcontract Administration support for Government contracts of various contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M).Effectively oversee and monitor subcontractors under U.S. Government Contracts.Lead or assist in key negotiations, resolve performance issues, identify risks and associated mitigations.Support the development of major proposals.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, as well as Federal government and contract requirements.Administer subcontracts of various types and complexity.Ensure compliance with company’s Procurement requirements supportive of a Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).Negotiate Subcontract Agreements including pricing, terms/conditions, and required flow downs.Identify and resolve moderate issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management.Perform subcontract close-out activities.Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.Create moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with Government and Company requirements.Evaluate supplier proposal responses.Conduct price and cost analysis.Analyze risks and identify risk mitigations.Act as the primary interface between subcontractors and the programs being supported for all subcontracts related issues.Regularly interact with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development, and customers as required.Possess interpersonal skills to effectively deal with subcontractor management regarding subcontract issues of varying degrees of complexity and work issues to resolution.Essential SkillsA Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 8 years of experience in subcontracts (majority of experience should be in subcontracts).Experience with all contract types (CPIF, CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) and an in-depth understanding of FAR/DFARS.Strong knowledge within government contracts and subcontracts arena.Skilled at negotiation, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.Experience creating subcontract agreements from reading the prime contract is highly preferred.CPSR experience required.Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills, including solving problems and mitigating risks.Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint site document management.Work Environment
100% remote but must be somewhat local to Lexington Park, MD, or Alexandria, VA to come on site once a month.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00
