In this Corporate Tax role, you will be tasked with managing tax compliance, conducting research into tax planning, and facilitating tax-effect accounting for their operations in North America and Canada. Responsibilities: • Ensure the company's compliance with all tax laws by keeping abreast of federal, state, and local tax regulations • Accurately prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for the United States and Canada • Conduct comprehensive tax research and provide strategic advice to optimize the company's tax position • Manage tax-effect accounting for the North American region, in accordance with accounting standards • Assist with tax audits and professionally handle inquiries from tax authorities in a timely manner • Maintain and organize detailed tax records to ensure accuracy and compliance • Identify opportunities for improved efficiency in tax reporting and compliance processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global regions to gather necessary information for accurate tax filings • Manage relationships with external tax advisors to ensure effective collaboration on tax matters. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a tax accounting role. • Proficiency in tax compliance processes is essential. • Must have hands-on experience with corporate tax compliance. • Experience in tax audits is required. • Must have a strong background in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns.
