Sr Technical Program Manager, Amazon Compensation Technologies
Amazon Compensation Technology Team is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to join our organization. We are building new software products and large scale distributed systems which will manage the compensation experience for Amazon’s growing workforce. We are empowered to think big at Amazon, and the Amazon Compensation Technology Team is doing just that.
Qualified candidates have extensive experience defining projects and programs, collecting requirements, leading the development of detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization. They must also have a demonstrated ability to build, lead, coach, and mentor high performing, cross-functional teams. Finally, qualified candidates must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple competing priorities.

A day in the life
As an Amazon Compensation Technologies Senior Technical Program Manager you will work with internal and external stake holders to align on business goals influence designs and build out technology process flows needed to support those Amazon’s complex compensation needs. While ensuring all stake holders understand the intended process, benefits and timelines.

We do this by providing the products and services necessary for calculating and managing every compensation change activity in the lifecycle of all global Amazon employees. We give all users a clear and consistent understanding of how compensation was calculated, how and when it can be adjusted, and the impacts of compensation adjustments. We provide the reporting, data, and insights that enables continuous evolution of compensation programs and policies.
