Sr Technical Program Manager, Device OS

As a Technical Program Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products.

The Role:

- Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements.
- Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through delivery.
- Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines. Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control.


Key job responsibilities
* Lead multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from initiation through delivery. Involves anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and communicating status broadly across all levels
* Make tradeoffs while balancing the business needs with technical constraints
* Work closely with product and engineering teams to define near term and long term product roadmap
* Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project execution. Create clarity, eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met. Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery mechanisms get better over time
* Serve as a trusted advisor to product and engineering team

About the team
The Device OS team invents ways to help customers develop complex applications deployed on multiple device types. Developer experience ensures the software product is fully usable, well-designed, functional, and easy to navigate. This role interacts with multiple teams and will be responsible for external developers management including the product externalization process and the developer portal to cover learning materials and tutorials, well-written documentation, reference apps etc.
