SR TRUST CLIENT ASSISTANT-7190TREOPS Trust Real Estate Operations- Trust Real Estate Operations Trust Client Assistant Senior is responsible for conducting various operational activities within a functional unit (Trust Real Estate Operations) of the Specialty Asset Management group. Position Competencies Successful incumbents possess real estate management experience, have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills; possess effective verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills. Position Responsibilities: * Various operational functions associated with trust owned real estate, trust receivables and trust liabilities, which may include: * Order real estate due diligence reports such as title reports and environmental reports. * Process ACH payments and pay invoices. * Update asset market values on trust accounting system. * Set up lease records, process lease payments, monitor lease delinquencies. * Daily departmental balancing (on a rotating basis with other team members). * Cross-train with other departmental functions; serve as back up to other TRE Ops team members duties. * Manage and review all new accounts to ensure that we have received all the pertinent information for the account and its' related property. * Responsible for creating Setup, Transfer and removal memos for each property. * Responsible for coding of invoices and rental/owners draw payments then sending to Michigan for processing. * Responsible for requesting tri-annual and date of death appraisals. * Responsible for requesting Tax Cost and Market Values for the various properties. Also, verifying they are correctly input not PDS and Unity. * Responsible for assisting Property Manager with construction and maintenance bid requests and payments. * Assisting Property Manager with escrow document preparation, insurance claims and client relations. * Assisting Property Manager with the purchase of properties on behalf of trusts by ordering appraisals, inspections and preparing escrow documents. * Proactive and reactive contact with assigned client base for routine requests as well as crisis resolution and problem solving. * Assembles and reviews all required materials for, and may attend formal Annual trust property reviews with senior management. * Follow up to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner - i.e. account setup materials, insurance, mortgage statements, etc. Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
