This role is based at our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Reporting Framework:
Design, build, and maintain a Workday reporting framework to address diverse cross-functional needs.
Create Reports and Dashboards:
Develop Workday reports, including advanced, composite, matrix, and BIRT reports. Create and maintain interactive dashboards to provide HR and business leaders with real-time insights into organizational trends and metrics.
Integrate with Analytical Tools and External Data Sources:
Oversee the implementation and use of Workday Prism to integrate and transform Workday and external data for enhanced reporting and dashboard capabilities. Export data to external BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Build, Test, and Deploy Integrations:
Develop and manage Workday integrations with other systems using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Web Services. Ensure seamless data transfer and functionality. Conduct thorough testing and deploy integrations efficiently.
Ensure Data Accuracy and Compliance:
Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all Workday reports and integrations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. Implement best practices for data security and governance.
Provide Support and Troubleshooting:
Monitor integration processes to identify and resolve errors or performance issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to Workday integrations and workflows. Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, including workflows, data mapping, and configuration details.
System Updates and Testing:
Ensure integrations remain compatible with Workday updates and releases. Conduct testing for new integrations and enhancements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues before go-live.
Mentor and Support Team Members:
Mentor HRIS and HR colleagues, fostering growth in their reporting and analytics skills.
Travel: Up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (equivalent years' experience will be considered)
At least 4 years of Workday experience, including 1+ year in integration development.
Minimum of 2 years of expertise in Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, composite reporting, and Workday Prism.
Deep understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and reporting strategies.
Proven ability to analyze and translate complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Knowledge of data quality, governance, privacy, and security, particularly for sensitive HR data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday certification in Reporting, Integration, or HCM.
Experience with Workday People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or Workday Financial Planning.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide teams toward best practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Annual Salary Range: $78,400 - 100,900. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
