Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Pooler, Georgia, United States, and are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant. This role involves a variety of tasks related to account reconciliation and general ledger work in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities: • Handle account reconciliation processes with precision. • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy. • Undertake bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. • Perform general ledger tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. • Prepare journal entries for various account adjustments. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting. • Carry out month-end close activities to finalize financial records. • Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems for accounting and finance procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved. • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, maintaining the integrity of financial records. • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations, verifying the company's bank balance with its financial records. • Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. • Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries, maintaining the company's financial transactions and records. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. • Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial activities of the month are accurately recorded. • Familiarity with NetSuite for managing accounting functions and processes. • Knowledge of Oracle for managing financial data and generating reports. • Experience with SAP for financial management and operations.
