Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in BRECKSVILLE, Ohio. The role involves various responsibilities such as month-end close, financial analysis, transactional accounting, and tax-related tasks. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights into the company’s financial status. • Handle month-end close procedures, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time. • Manage transactional accounting operations, including Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the General Ledger and Journal Entries. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and complete necessary tax reporting requirements. • Leverage software applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes. • Perform other related duties as required to support the company's accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations • Expertise in managing the General Ledger • Experience in creating Journal Entries • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close activities • Proficiency in using NetSuite • Experience with Oracle financial software • Knowledge of SAP financial software • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Proven experience in a similar senior accounting role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software and spreadsheet programs • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
