Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Corvallis, Oregon. The role involves complex accounting tasks within the Non-profit industry, requiring proficiency in various accounting software and systems. Responsibilities: • Set up and manage grant accounts in QuickBooks to ensure accurate monthly closing. • Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and maintain general ledger. • Prepare process and procedures for grant reporting and train other team members for the same. • Handle journal entries and utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. • Ensure accurate revenue recording by monitoring the impact of grants. • Conduct month end close activities and prepare relevant reports. • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and manage Grant Accounting. • Liaise with customers to resolve queries and maintain customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status. • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
