Description
A Manufacturing company Robert Half currently has long term contact opportunity with excellent growth for Senior Accountant who enjoys taking on new challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant opportunity is located in the Chattanooga area and will offer you great experience along with attractive compensation.
- Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
- Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
- Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
- Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Other projects as required
Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
- Experience with Blackline
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
- Demonstrated knowledge of closing
- Experience with financial reporting
- Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Adeptness in Payments Reconciliation
- Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation
- Foundational knowledge in asset management
- Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
- Financial reporting systems proficiency
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
- Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills
