Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to be part of our team in the Professional Services sector, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role primarily involves full cycle accounting and handling month-end financial statement preparation and consolidation. It also requires managing billing functions with the potential to grow into an Accounting Manager level in the future. Responsibilities: • Undertake full cycle accounting duties to ensure accurate financial records • Manage month-end financial statement preparation and consolidation • Oversee the execution of billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing • Monitor financial reports and documents for discrepancies and resolve any issues found • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement financial strategies • Handle customer inquiries related to accounting and billing • Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate actions when necessary • Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards • Contribute to the team's objectives by accomplishing related duties as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong understanding of Full Cycle Accounting • Proficiency in Month End Close procedures • Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements • Experience in Financial Statement Preparation • Knowledge of Financial Statements Consolidation processes • Familiarity with various Billing Functions • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • CPA certification is a plus but not required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
