Sr. Accountant
Description We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our team in Hawthorne, California. The role involves overseeing various financial operations, including payroll management, financial statement preparation, and vendor payments. This position will also require collaboration with external CPA to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes • Prepare financial statements in accordance with standard accounting principles • Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely settlements • Perform ACH transfers and conduct bank reconciliations • Maintain and manage the general ledger and journal entries • Utilize Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial operations • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards • Collaborate with external CPA for accurate financial reporting • Handle account and balance sheet reconciliations. **For confidential consideration, please apply directly with your resume or call Allysa Bayly at (310) 719-1400. If you are already working with a recruiter from Robert Half, please contact him or her directly to expedite your candidacy for this role.** Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant or in a related field • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations • Experience with general ledger and journal entries • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience in month end close procedures • Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong verbal and written communication skills • CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory • High level of integrity and trustworthiness • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
