Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Camarillo, California. This role primarily involves managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Sr. Accountant will also liaise with external auditors and assist in budget preparation. Responsibilities: • Manage and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts. handle month end close. • Prepare monthly financial statements and distribute monthly revenue and expenditure reports to departments • Analyze and reconcile expenditure and revenue accounts • Conduct wire transfers and journal funding transfers, and reconcile monthly bank statements • Calculate and prepare reimbursement billings, track receivables, and reconcile monthly accounts receivable • Prepare audit schedules and act as a liaison during external audits • Assist in the preparation of the annual and mid-year budgets • Assist with fiscal year-end and fixed asset accounting • Provide accounting-related assistance to company personnel, answering questions about budgeting, expenditure coding, document processing, and other accounting activities • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as required Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations • Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Journal Entries • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
