Description Compensation: $70-85k Benefits: MDV, strong plan and PTO Work Arrangement: Full-time, permanent/direct hire Schedule: Hybrid, 1 day onsite/week Position Summary: The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, with a focus on the general ledger and manufacturing operations. This individual will ensure the integrity of financial data, manage month-end close processes, and support financial reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP. Key Responsibilities: + General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, amortizations, and inventory adjustments. + Manufacturing Accounting: Monitor and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, and manufacturing variances. Assist with standard costing and analyze changes in manufacturing processes that impact costs. + Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. + Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to monitor and report financial performance.
