Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Denver. Our team is operating within the software industry and is in need of a Sr. Accountant to manage our financial operations and contribute to strategic financial planning. The Sr. Accountant will be essential in ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and will be required to have a deep understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Drive accounting initiatives and process improvements to optimize efficiency. • Assist in the annual audits, including audit requests and accounting memos. • Oversee month, quarter, and annual month-end close processes. • Support all aspects of the month-end close, including account reconciliations, international consolidation, and preparation of reporting packages. • Lead team to ensure month-end close activities are on schedule. • Lead various special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed or assigned. • Use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to process financial data. • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accountant and 2+ years as a Senior Accountant. • Expertise in using financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is required. • Must have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
