Key Responsibilities: + Take charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory compliance. + Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial entries and transactions are recorded accurately and promptly. + Prepare and produce comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide clear insights into the company’s financial health. + Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify discrepancies, spot trends, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making. + Review tenant leases to ensure they are thorough, compliant with company policies, and aligned with industry standards. + Respond to tenant inquiries professionally and efficiently, providing top-tier customer service while resolving issues in a timely manner. + Handle common area maintenance (CAM) billings with precision, ensuring all charges are accurate and compliant with lease terms. + Keep work papers and related financial records up-to-date and organized for easy reference and audit purposes. + Partner with the property management department to develop and manage budgets, balancing the financial needs of the company with those of tenants. Requirements Requirements: + A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant field. + Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field. + Proficient in the use of accounting software; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with tenants and cross-functional teams. + Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. + Sound understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
