Description We are offering a contract to hire role for a Sr. Accountant position in Pleasanton, California. As a Sr. Accountant, your main function will be to manage financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. You will also act as a point of contact between the financial management and other departments within the organization. This is a remote position. It does require one day in the office per month so applicants must be local to the bay area. Responsibilities: • Oversee the preparation of journal entries and ensure their accuracy • Monitor and manage cost allocations, ensuring adherence to budget • Maintain accurate records of customer credit and process credit applications efficiently • Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations • Exhibit proficiency in general ledger reporting and reconciliations • Use intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, for various financial tasks • Contribute to the month-end close process. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Must be skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is necessary. • The candidate should have experience dealing with General Ledger.
