Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Monterey, California for a Sr. Accountant. This role is integral to our team, focusing on maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. Responsibilities: • Manage the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all financial reports are accurate. • Handle bank reconciliations, making sure all transactions are correctly recorded. • Maintain the general ledger, updating and verifying its accuracy. • Prepare journal entries, accurately recording all financial transactions. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. • Conduct month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accounted for.
