Description We are in search of a Revenue Accountant to join our team. This role is offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Revenue Accountant, your primary role will be to perform deferred revenue reconciliations, operational accounting, and gradually assume additional responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Conduct deferred revenue reconciliations to clean up old contracts dating back to 2019 • Undertake operational accounting tasks which constitute about 30% of your responsibilities • Participate in the quarter-end close process, focusing on deferred revenue • Gradually assume additional responsibilities and tasks as part of your role • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of accounting activities • Assist in the company's year-end audit process • Utilize Workday software for accounting tasks, although this is not a mandatory requirement • Balance Sheet Reconciliation, General Ledger, and Journal Entries • Utilize Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and data analysis • Analyze revenues and deferred revenue to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry • Proven proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Demonstrated expertise in managing the General Ledger • Experience in making accurate Journal Entries • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel • Ability to analyze revenues and identify discrepancies or trends • Experience in handling Deferred Revenue • Familiarity with the Workday software platform Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
