Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the construction industry, located in Orange, California. The key responsibilities of this role entail managing financial records for construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, budgets, and progress. This role involves close collaboration with project managers to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: • Accurately process invoices associated with construction projects. • Reconcile accounts, ensuring the precision of financial records. • Prepare detailed financial reports reflecting project costs and budgets. • Collaborate effectively with project managers, ensuring adherence to financial regulations. • Handle payroll duties for construction workers involved in various projects. • Assist in forecasting and cost control to ensure economic efficiency. • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite proficiently. • Perform month-end close procedures including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. • Maintain a strong understanding of construction-specific accounting practices, such as job costing. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and financial analysis.
