Sr. Accountant
Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in West Fort Worth. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of our full cycle accounting operations. The Senior Accountant position is vital in maintaining financial efficiency and accuracy across all departments of our company. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of full cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and cash flow. + Perform month-end closing tasks such as reconciliation of accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, and analyzing financial statements. + Oversee the billing process, ensure accuracy of invoices and expedite the payment process. + Administer bi-weekly or monthly payroll, including handling changes in employee compensation, benefits, deductions, and processing new hires and terminations. + Maintain accurate record of inventory, conduct regular audits, and identify and rectify discrepancies. + Monitor company's cash flow by tracking cash balances and predicting future financial trends. + Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting and audits. + Improve financial systems and procedures for efficient financial operations. + Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations and standards. + Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with extensive experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant. • Proficiency in performing Account Reconciliation is essential. • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is mandatory. • Must have a strong understanding of General Ledger operations. • Capability to handle Journal Entries is a must. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. • Experience with Month End Close operations is required. • Familiarity with NetSuite software is desirable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary. • Experience in Billing operations is required. • Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory. • Must be able to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
