Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry, located in STEVENSVILLE, Michigan. As a Sr. Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial information to the team. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage general ledger activities. • Perform monthly close procedures and reconciliation of balance sheets. • Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with set standards. • Utilize Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and data management. • Apply GAAP Accounting principles in all accounting tasks. • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the accounting process. • Engage in bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Contribute to the manufacturing accounting process by providing relevant financial information. • Participate in the auditing process by providing necessary information and support. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required • General Ledger management ability is necessary • Must be adept at creating and managing Journal Entries • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must-have • Demonstrated experience in Month End Close procedures is required • Knowledge of Sage 100 is essential • Must have a solid understanding of GAAP Accounting principles • Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment, particularly in the Stone/Glass/Concrete industry, is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
