Description Job Duties And Responsibilities - Serve as a key player for the accounting and management of fixed assets owned & leased for the company - Prepare financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations - Support month-end and year-end close - Maintain fixed asset registers and reconciliation of general ledger accounts - Prepare and execute accurate and timely recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets transactions - Assist with physical audits and reconcile physical assets with accounting records - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review capital projects to ensure timely and proper capitalization of assets - Analyze and report on asset depreciation, impairment, transfers, and useful life - Assist internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely information is provided for examinations, SOX compliance and related financial projects - Develop expertise with best practices for fixed asset management - Support tax requests for roll forward detail on a quarterly basis Job Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field - 2+ years experience in accounting, experience in fixed asset accounting preferred - Construction Industry experience is a plus - Solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Continuous improvement mindset - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments Requirements Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Construction Industry, Fixed Assets, Fixed Asset Accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
