Description Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role will play a vital part in maintaining the general ledger and will be responsible for numerous aspects of the monthly close process. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a keen sense of problem-solving, and can handle financial data confidentially. Responsibilities: + Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies. + Perform general bookkeeping. + Prepare monthly journal entries and routine account reconciliations. + Analyze reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness. + Assist with tax audits and tax returns. + Provide financial analysis as needed. + Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. Requirements + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree or CPA is a plus. + Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related field. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT, and numerical abilities. + Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
