Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. This role is in the finance industry and the selected candidate will be expected to process customer credit applications, maintain accurate customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. The Sr. Accountant will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.
Responsibilities:
• Manage full process accounts payable & receivable
• Conduct bank & general ledger reconciliation
• Oversee the month-end close process
• Maintain and update the General Ledger
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements
• Compile and prepare trial balance sheets
• Handle payroll processing tasks
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data and create reports
• Work with accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP
• Perform account reconciliation tasks and balance sheet reconciliation Requirements • Applicant must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
• Mastery of Bank Reconciliations is a must
• Familiarity with General Ledger is essential
• Ability to handle Journal Entries efficiently is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary
• Knowledge of NetSuite is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with Oracle is highly desirable
• Proficiency in SAP is a must
