Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in Calabasas, California. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing Inventory and COGS, working closely with our Merchandise and Events teams, and ensuring accuracy in accounting for all projects. Responsibilities: • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of monthly close responsibilities, particularly in relation to Inventory and COGS. • Collaborate with the Merchandise and Events teams to ensure all COGS and Inventory are correctly accounted for in each project. • Coordinate and create settlements, tracking all costs at a detailed level with third-party merchandise partners. • Conduct thorough investigations and reconciliations of our ERP with third-party merchandise partners. • Execute month-end close tasks as directed by management, including the preparation of journal entries in line with GAAP and SOX requirements. • Take on special projects as assigned, which may include the implementation of new initiatives. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required • Must be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations • Should have a solid understanding of General Ledger management • Ability to manage Journal Entries efficiently • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Must be able to handle Month End Close processes • Experience with NetSuite software is required • Knowledge of Oracle software is needed • Familiarity with SAP software is a necessity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
