Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Stayton, Oregon, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you'll be tasked with the responsibility of managing and maintaining our financial records, including general ledger reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and monthly closing activities. Responsibilities: • Overseeing and performing account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet • Conducting bank reconciliations to verify our financial transactions and ensure compliance • Managing the general ledger, making sure all transactions are recorded correctly • Preparing journal entries as part of our ongoing accounting procedures • Performing month-end close activities to finalize and validate our financial reports • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
