Description We are offering a contract for a Sr. Accountant position at our Deer Park, Texas location. The selected candidate will play a critical role in our team, managing accruals, reconciliations, balance sheet, general ledger, and full cycle accounting duties. Responsibilities: • Execute full cycle accounting tasks with precision • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Utilize software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for accounting operations • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to verify transaction details • Prepare and post accurate journal entries in the general ledger • Ensure account reconciliation activities are performed accurately • Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting financial data • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate • Monitor and analyze general ledger entries for accuracy and completeness. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for the role. • Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are a must. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required. • Proficiency in managing and maintaining the General Ledger is necessary. • Ability to accurately record Journal Entries is expected. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. • Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures is required. • Familiarity with NetSuite for accounting purposes is preferred. • Ability to work with Oracle financial software is necessary. • Knowledge and experience in using SAP for accounting tasks is required.
