Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Sacramento, California. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working to ensure the company's financial systems are in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves a significant amount of data analysis, financial modelling, and coordination with internal and external auditors. Responsibilities: • Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of financial accounting systems align with company policies and regulatory standards. • Preparing and consolidating financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Conducting rigorous data analysis to decipher complex financial information and assist in decision-making processes. • Performing variance analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting tasks. • Coordinating with both internal and external auditors to facilitate compliant, timely, and efficient annual audits. • Regularly reviewing financials and conducting analyses to identify potential cost reduction and process improvement opportunities. • Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic planning efforts. • Preparing detailed periodic and ad-hoc reports such as cash forecasts, cash flow analysis, profitability analysis, ROI, etc. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations • Demonstrated ability to manage general ledger and journal entries • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel • Proven ability to handle month-end close responsibilities • Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
