Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Aerospace industry, situated in EAST HARTFORD, Connecticut. The role involves meticulous management of financial data and the application of a broad range of skills, including account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, verifying the integrity of financial data
• Implement bank reconciliations, rectifying any discrepancies found
• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis
• Prepare and record journal entries, adhering to the company's financial procedures
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
• Ensure a smooth month end close process, verifying all financial records
• Employ NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software in daily tasks and financial operations. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial documents.
• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, demonstrating an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for.
• Solid understanding of General Ledger management, capable of maintaining and updating financial records as necessary.
• Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating strong data analysis and report generation skills.
• Experience in handling Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Familiarity with NetSuite software, showcasing an ability to handle various financial management tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Oracle software for financial management, demonstrating strong technical skills.
• Experience in using SAP software for financial management, showcasing an ability to adapt to various financial software platforms.
