Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance. Located in San Rafael, California, we are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with supporting our team in day-to-day accounting and finance functions. Responsibilities: • Accurate processing and reconciliation of accounts • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations effectively • Carrying out bank reconciliations • Supporting the team with month-end close activities, including month-end expense review • Assisting with the review and preparation of journal entries • Preparation of financial statements as required • Handling day-to-day projects delegated from the team • Undertaking ad hoc projects which may include supporting audit efforts with ad-hoc reporting • Utilizing software tools such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory • Solid experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required • Demonstrable skills in Bank Reconciliations • Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger management • Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries efficiently • Expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting • Experience in Month End Close processes • Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software • Familiarity with Oracle Financials is necessary • Knowledge and experience in SAP financial software is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
