Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in New York. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working closely with the Controller and playing a crucial role in our ongoing project. This role is primarily based around account analysis, general ledger work, and month-end duties, with a focus on bank and account reconciliations. Knowledge of Sage Intacct and proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be beneficial in this role. Responsibilities: • Execute bank reconciliations with precision • Carry out general ledger tasks efficiently • Prepare and review journal entries • Conduct detailed account analysis • Perform month-end close activities • Handle billing related duties • Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Assist the Controller with other accounting related tasks as needed.
